Severe turbulence on Singapore Airlines flight SQ321 turbulence caused one death and many injuries. The plane made an emergency landing in Bangkok.
A Singapore Airlines plane flying from London to Singapore hit very bumpy air. One person died, and many got hurt. The plane had 211 passengers and 18 crew members.
The plane landed in Bangkok at 3:45 pm on Tuesday. Flight SQ321 quickly dropped from 37,000 feet to 31,000 feet in just five minutes.
Singapore Airlines talked about the accident on Facebook. They said, ‘We are very sad about this.’ They sent good thoughts to the hurt passengers and their families.
People on the plane said it was very scary. Dzafran Azmir, a 28-year-old student, told reporters about it.
He said,
“Suddenly the aircraft starts tilting up and there was shaking. Very suddenly there was a very dramatic drop. Everyone seated and not wearing a seatbelt was launched into the ceiling.”
Many people hit their heads on the overhead bins. This made them hurt badly.

The Boeing 777-300ER is strong. It can handle bad turbulence. But people not wearing seat belts can still get hurt.
News said about 30 people got hurt. Thai helpers came on the plane to help the hurt people. People who were not hurt got off safely.
Singapore Airlines said they will help everyone. They said,
“We want to help everyone as much as we can.”
The airline worked with Thai helpers to get medical care.
Singapore’s Transport Minister Chee Hong Tat felt very sorry. He wrote on Facebook.
“My deepest condolences to the family of the deceased.”
He assured that the government would support affected passengers and their families.
This incident shows the unpredictable nature of air travel. It highlights the importance of wearing seat belts to minimize injuries. Singapore Airlines started an internal investigation.
