According to the Best Countries to Study Abroad Rankings 2022 published by US News and World Report, a US media company that publishes rankings and analysis, the United States has emerged as the most preferred destination for international students.
The rankings are based on a global survey of over 17,000 people and list countries based on their perception among over 7,400 respondents aged 35 and under.
The rankings also show how respondents perceive different countries in terms of cultural diversity and tourist attractions. They also indicate whether they would consider attending any of the top-ranked universities in the country.
85 countries are represented in the Best Countries to Study Abroad Rankings 2022. The United States tops the list, followed by the United Kingdom and France. Kazakhstan, Iran, and Uzbekistan are the countries with the lowest rankings.
Notably, Pakistan is not included in the rankings, implying that the country is not a top choice for international students. India, China, and Bangladesh are ranked 21st, 23rd, and 74th, respectively.
