The prices of two-way tickets for trips from Lahore to Dubai, Sharjah, Karachi, Toronto, Dammam, and Saudi Arabia have increased, according to Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) administration officials.
The cost of a PIA airline ticket from Lahore to Toronto is Rs. 458,716. The ticket from Lahore to Toronto Executive Economy Class has also been hiked to Rs. 667,000.
The price of a two-way Economy Class ticket from Lahore to Sharjah on the Pakistan International Airlines has climbed to Rs. 113,927, while the price of an Executive Economy Class ticket has jumped to Rs. 135,000.
The PIA’s two-way cost from Lahore to Karachi increased to Rs. 64,150, while the Karachi Executive Economy Class fare from Lahore increased to Rs. 85,930.
After the hike, a two-way ticket from Lahore to Dubai in Economy Class cost Rs. 190,000.
According to data, daily increases in the price of fuel items, as well as the dollar’s ongoing high flight versus the rupee, have exacerbated the challenges faced by flying travelers.
According to sources, flight prices to other countries, including domestic flights, have risen by more than 25%, resulting in higher airline fares from Lahore to Dubai, Sharjah, Karachi, Toronto, Dammam, and Saudi Arabia. “And there has been a sudden increase in fares for domestic flights.”
Flights from Lahore to Karachi and Karachi to Islamabad cost between Rs. 28,000 and Rs. 30,000 for a one-way ticket.
The cost of an Economy Class airline ticket between Karachi and Islamabad has increased to Rs. 46,600, while the cost of an Executive Economy Class ticket between Karachi and Islamabad has increased to Rs. 76,000.
The Economy Class price from Lahore to Dammam on Pakistan International Airlines has reached Rs. 135,222.
