Tecno has launched a new budget phone in India today. After announcing Tecno Spark 8 Pro in Bangladesh last month, the company has announced the same for the Indian market as promised. The Spark 8 Pro is the successor to the Tecno Spark 7 Pro, which was launched in India back in May 2021. The latest device in the Spark series, the Tecno Spark 8 Pro is powered by a MediaTek Helio SoC, packs in a massive battery with 33W fast charging, and also sports a 48MP main camera. Tecno Spark 8 Pro Price and Availability
The Tecno Spark 8 Pro will go on sale starting January 4 at 12 noon on Amazon. The device comes in a single storage configuration, which costs Rs 10,599. Amazon listing also suggests this is a special launch price and the price might go up in a few days after the first sale. The Spark 8 Pro is available in four colour options 一 Komodo Beach, Turquoise Cyan, Winsor Violet, and Intersteller Black. 
Specifications
Starting off with the display, the Spark 8 Pro sports a 6.8-inch Full HD+ LCD display with 2460 x 1080 pixel screen resolution, 20.5:9 aspect ratio, and 90.5% screen to body ratio. The front of the phone is protected by NEG glass. Under the hood, the device comes with MediaTek Helio G85 SoC clocked at 2GHz and paired with Mali GPU clocked at 1GHz. The phone comes in a single RAM and storage option, however, the company is yet to clarify the configuration. In Bangladesh, the phone comes with GB of RAM and 64GB storage.
Further, in the camera department, the handset houses a 48MP main camera accompanied by a 2MP secondary camera and an AI lens. On the front side, the Tecno Spark 8 Pro sports an 8MP selfie camera. The camera supports night mode as well as 10x zoom. Furthermore, the device draws power from a 5,000mAh battery backed by a 33W fast charging solution. On the software front, the Spark 8 Pro runs Android 11 out of the box with HiOS v7.6. on top. Lastly, it offers a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
