Samsung, the Korean tech giant, introduced the Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 2021 tablet just yesterday. The Tab A8 will be available in Europe by the end of the month, while it will launch in some other regions in January. The company didn’t mention anything about the India launch though. In a new development, we have now spotted the Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 India support page on Samsung’s official website. The appearance on official support hints towards an imminent launch.

The Galaxy Tab A8 2021 packs a 10.5-inch TFT LCD display with a 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution and 16: 10 aspect ratio. The mid-range tablet is powered by an octa-core UniSoC Tiger T618 processor that is built on a 12nm process and comes coupled with Mali G52 GPU. The tablet comes preloaded with Android 11 and will be available in three configurations – 3GB + 32GB, 4GB + 64GB, and 4GB + 128GB.
The Tab A8 features an 8MP rear shooter with autofocus. On the other side, there is a 5MP shooter for selfies and video calls. The entry-level Android tablet comes with a 7,040mAh battery and 15W fast charging support. It offers a USB Type-C port, a micro-SD card slot, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a quad stereo speaker setup with Dolby Atmos.
The Galaxy Tab A8 weighs 508grams and measures 246.8 x 161.9 x 6.9mm. It is available in LTE as well as WiFi-only variants. The pricing of the tablet starts at €229 (approx Rs 19,740) for 3GB + 32GB WiFi-only variant, and goes up to €359 (approx Rs 30,950) for 4GB + 128GB LTE variant.
