The Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) and the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the establishment of the ‘Job Centre in Punjab Province.’
The Punjab Province Job Center, a collaborative effort of the PITB, the Labor & Human Resource Department (L&HRD), and the Government of Punjab, is being deployed at divisional and district levels throughout the province.
Despite being in its early stages, the initiative has already registered 20,000 workers.
The signing ceremony was attended by RCCI President Saqib Rafiq, Senior Vice President Muhammad Hamza Sarosh, Vice President Faisal Shahzad, Senior Program Manager Shams ul Islam, and Program Manager Syed Umar Saeed.
Saqib Rafiq, President of the RCCI, praised the PITB initiative and stated that the portal will serve as a link between employers, promoters, job exchange agencies, workers, and job seekers.
What exactly is a job centre?
Training institutes, recruitment agencies, service seekers, and providers will all be represented at the Punjab job centre. You can also go to the job center’s official website to find centres near you. This will also show you any open positions for which you can apply.
You can register as a worker or an employer on the website. If you are an employer, you will be able to find employees through the portal, and if you are a worker, you will be able to find job opportunities.
