Shahnawaz Dahani, the fast pacer for Multan Sultans, is currently one of Pakistan’s most well-known cricketers. He has been one of Pakistan cricket’s biggest success stories in recent years.
Dahani rose to fame after outstanding performances in the previous edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Dahani’s outstanding performances was important in Multan Sultans winning their first PSL title.
Dahani won the league in his rookie season, ranking as the highest wicket-taker in PSL 6, and was rewarded for his outstanding performances with an international debut later that year.
The 22-year-old fast bowler, hails from a small village in Sindh. And his journey to the top echelons of international cricket has inspired cricket fans worldwide.
Dahani is currently one of Pakistan’s most well-known cricketers, and his popularity has made him one of the PSL’s brand ambassadors.
The PSL’s official account recently shared a heartfelt re-enactment video of Dahani’s path from ambitious cricketer to national star performer. The video was released as part of the marketing for the PSL’s upcoming seventh season.
The video has gone viral since then getting positive response on the social media.
In the 11 matches he participated in the tournament, Dahani took 20 wickets at an average of 17.00 and an economy rate of 8.42.
Dahani will make his PSL 2022 debut on January 27 where the current champions Multan Sultans will face on the Karachi Kings.
