For the past few months, users on the Dealabs forum have been correctly been able to leak the PS Plus free games, and it looks like they’ve hit the mark yet again. According to a new post on Dealabs, the PS Plus free games for the PS4 and PS5 are Deep Rock Galactic, DiRT 5, and Persona 5 Strikers.
While this has not been confirmed by PlayStation yet, given Dealabs users track record of the past few months, they’ll most likely be right again. If the games leaked are correct, it looks like the free games lineup is pretty strong this time around. Last months’ games, Mortal Shell and Godfall: Challenger Edition were two solid offerings and it looks PlayStation is continuing that trend.

PS Plus free games for January leaked ahead of time
The success of the Game Pass has been the subject of much conversation within the game community and it looks like Sony might be working on a service similar to their green rival. The PS Now service, so far, has been serviceable at best, and it leaves a lot of room for improvement. Reportedly, Sony are currently working on the said service and might be eyeing a launch in Spring 2022.
The PS Plus subscription might come bundled with the supposed new Game Pass-like service by Sony, similar to the way Xbox Live Gold comes bundled with a subscription of the Game Pass. PS Plus has too been only serviceable so far, with some months’ free games being stellar, while others are fairly lacklustre.
It will be interesting to see what Sony’s approach will be later in the console generation and if PS Plus will go through major transformations to compete with the Game Pass or launch a new service altogether.
