A very sad incident regarding murder of CEO happened in Karachi yesterday. An employee killed his boss at a software house located in Kawish Crown, Shahrah e Faisal. This made people talk a lot. Violence is bad. We need to see why this happened. The incident happened due to ‘financial matter.’
Eye Witnesses Explaining Murder of CEO
The allegedly murderer Shoaib Shah, 27 who is a software engineer stabbed his boss Naveed Khan, 42, twice. The eye witnesses say that;
‘It was 6:15PM in the evening when Shoaib came out of his office screaming in pain. He was showered in blood. There were only a few female staff present in the office that time. A few of us closed the door and locked Naveed in the room. During the matter, Shoaib Shah ran to help himself to get help. But unfortunately, he collapsed in the garage on the way to his car and died.
The body was shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC).
Delayed Salaries: A Growing Concern in Pakistan’s Software Industry
People get mad when they wait for money. They feel bad when they have no money. It gets worse if the boss is mean. This is not okay. But we are again uncertain that what could be the reason. Some people say that Shoaib’s salary was delayed for 8 days and a few say it was delayed for 3 months.
No one should beg for their pay, employees work all month. They should get their pay. They should not worry about getting paid. This is true for people who are leaving the job too. They worked hard. They need their money. Some bosses in Pakistan software houses do not pay. This is bad.
We need to fix this. People are having a hard time. Some people are the only ones who earn money in their family. They cannot take this torture. They should not have to ask why they should be paid.
