Four Pakistanis on international wanted lists have been apprehended in Abu Dhabi by the National Central Bureau (NCB) of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).
Arbab Khalil, Ali Raza, Munir Hussain, and Muhammad Khan have been wanted by police in Islamabad and Punjab, according to the information at hand. Due to allegations of many murders, NCB Pakistan issued a Red Notice for one of the accused.
The Pakistanis were brought back
They were handed over to the local police without a hitch by the FIA immigration team as soon as they landed in Islamabad. Earlier, in a coordinated effort between Interpol and the FIA, Abu Dhabi police detained three other Pakistani suspects wanted in connection with major offences.
Following their capture, suspects Qamar Abbas, Mehtab Khan, and Dost Ali were relocated to Lahore. The police in Gujarat were looking for Qamar, while those in Bahawalnagar and Dera Ghazi Khan were looking for Mehtab and Dost.
Teams from Interpol’s Islamabad and Abu Dhabi offices led the operation. A representative for the FIA praised NCB Pakistan for its work in tracking down offenders who have fled to other countries.
