Renowned Pakistani Mountaineer Passes Away
ISLAMABAD: The mountaineering fraternity is in deep sorrow after renowned climber of Pakistan named Murad Sadpara succumb to death due to severe accident when he was coming down from Broad Peak. The Broad Peak Rescue Team ascertained the mortal fate of Sadpara on Monday when the team got to Camp 1. Sadpara who was spearheading a major cleanup drive of K-2 fell and had critical injuries when a stone struck him on the head during the descent Mountaineer Passes Away.
The hiking community was fully aware of Sadpara’s devotion to saving the aesthetic appeal of Pakistan’s mountains. Its purpose was the disposal of litter and waste from one of the largest and most daring mountains K-2 which is situated at the earliest stage of the Karakoram Highway. However, this mission was blunted by the accident that recipes him in the end. Sadpara also remained in the Camp 1 to wait the rescue team to get him despite of the numerous injuries he received. The Pakistan Army was not slow in their response and within the emergency, four expert mountaineers were sent for the rescue mission.
The rescue mission was supposed to depart from the earlier base camp during the day and they have been able to get to Camp 1 after substantial effort. Upon their arrival they were informed about the sad demise of Sadpara, the unbelievable news was true.
Among Murad Sadpara contribution both in the field of climbing, and environmentalism will not be forgotten. The cleanliness he made in K-2 was a testament to how he wanted to make sure that natural beauty in Pakistan was retained. For now, Sadpara’s great fan base of mountaineering enthusiasts can credit his efforts of humanity as everyone understands that his spirit of adventure, camaraderie, and love for environment will forever be cherished.
