Every weapon used inside Pakistani territory, for defense, hunting, or any other purpose, must be registered with the government. Pakistan offers two types of licences for purchasing weapons. The non-banned bore licence is used for semi-automatic weapons and all other firearms, whereas the prohibited bore licence is used for fully automatic weapons.
