Wang Hua, the CEO of Zong, stated that his organization is prepared to work with the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication (MoITT) to introduce 5G in Pakistan.
On Tuesday, the CEO spoke with Syed Aminul Haque, the federal minister of information technology and telecommunication.
The minister of information technology stated that infrastructure upgrades in the telecom industry are required to raise service levels.
Additional Secretary (Incharge) Ministry of IT and Telecommunication Mohsin Mushtaq was also present in the meeting.
He emphasized that every effort is being made to fix taxation and other challenges facing telecom companies and that delivering internet services to the whole nation is the government’s top goal. He continued by saying that the ministry is totally dedicated to providing 5G services to the nation early the next year.
Zong will soon introduce a program for the e-commerce industry, according to Hua.
For the introduction of 5G technology in the nation, CEO Zong Wang Hua stated that Zong was prepared to fully work with the Ministry of IT and Telecommunication. He informed them that Zong will soon launch a microfinance-style program for online shopping.
