As one of the first gaming phones of 2022, the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition made its debut in China. There has been no official word from Xiaomi regarding the Poco F4 GT’s global release.
As is customary, the gaming phone has already been disassembled, albeit in a brief video clip. This video clip, however, is unlike any other because it not only disassembles the K50 Gaming Edition but also transforms it into a fully functional remote-controlled car.
To see it in action, watch the video.
In the video, we can see the entire camera assembly, as well as the motherboard and all of its components, in great detail.
It also shows the JBL tuned speaker setup from the inside, as well as the dual-cell battery setup, which totals 4,700 mAh. This battery supports 120W fast charging for extremely fast top-ups.
To keep thermals in check, the massive cooling chamber is located directly behind the rear panel. Because the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC is notorious for overheating, this is required for smartphones that use it.
Finally, the video’s most amusing segment shows all of these hardware components stacked on top of a fully functional remote-controlled car. Another Redmi K50 Gaming Edition is in charge of driving the car.
