The cost of some of the Toyota company’s many variations has climbed by up to Rs. 0.7 million, according to Indus Motor Company (IMC).
The company recently raised the pricing of the Corolla, its best-selling four-wheeler, and the Toyota Revo 4X4 pickup truck.
According to a notice the company released, the price changes were made as a result of rising raw material costs and economic uncertainty.
In addition, it mentioned fluctuating currency exchange rates, rising utility costs, and overheads that increased the cost of production at a time of extraordinary inflation.
The Corolla 1.6 CVT’s price has gone up by Rs. 190,000 to Rs. 4,979,000, while the Corolla 1.6 CVT (Special Edition) variant’s price has gone up by Rs. 200,000. The Special Edition now costs Rs. 5,279,000.
The price of the Toyota Hilux has increased by Rs. 620,000 to Rs. 9,069,000; this type was previously offered for sale at Rs. 8,449,000.
The price of the Toyota Hilux Revo G 2.8 has increased by Rs. 670,000 to Rs. 9,839,000.
The price of the Toyota Hilux Revo G Automatic 2.8 has increased by Rs. 0.7 million, going from Rs. 9,609,000 to Rs. 10,309,000.
