Tecno has launched a new smartphone in the Pova series. The company has unveiled the Tecno Pova Neo budget phone in Nigeria with a big battery, high-touch sampling rate screen, fast charging, and more. Some of the key features of the device include a 6,000mAh battery, MediaTek chipset, and 18W fast charging. Let’s take a look at the price, specs, and features of the newly launched Tecno Pova Neo.
Tecno Pova Neo Specs and Features
The Pova Neo is an affordable phone and it comes with a 6.8-inch HD+ dot notch display which is essentially a dew-drop notch. It has a screen resolution of 1640 x 720 pixels and a 120Hz touch sampling rate. The phone comes in three colourways 一 Obsidian, Geek blue, and Powehi. Under the hood, the device is powered by an unknown MediaTek processor clocked at 1.8GHz. The phone comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
Further, in the camera department, the Tecno Pova Neo comes with a dual rear camera setup which is led by a 13MP main camera and an unknown secondary camera. There’s a quad-LED flash on the back to help in low-light scenarios. For selfies, the handset features an 8MP camera on the front. On the inside, the Pova Neo is packed with a massive 6,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. A quick 15 charge is rated to offer 3 hours of gameplay.
The device runs on Android 11 out of the box with HiOS 7.6 skin and offers a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The Tecno Pova Neo measures 171.39 x 77.25 x 9.1mm.

The Tecno Pova Neo is priced at N72,500 which is roughly around Rs 13,400. The phone is available in three color options 一 Obsidian Black, Geek blue, and Power.
The company is also expected to launch Tecno Pova 5G smartphone soon with MediTek Dimensity 900 SoC, 50MP cameras, and more.
