Samsung a South Korean company, one of the world’s largest producers of electronic devices, announced before Consumer Electronics Show (CES) that Samsung is launching the first NFT based aggregation platform for their TV screens.
NFT, non-fungible tokens, collections which can only be viewed from the smartphone’s screens or computer. Samsung is launching a NFT based screen that will fetch and display the artwork of their favorite artist which then can be displayed, browsed and bought through the LED.
Through this new NFT aggregation platform the buyers, before making a purchase, can browse, view and buy the artwork and learn about its author as well as block chain metadata. The creators are given added technology named “Smart Calibration” which allows them to change the display setting according to their preset values to ensure the honestly and quality of their work.
NFT’s are customized digital items that uses cryptocurrency to buy and sell its ownership to anyone by keeping tracks of their owners on block chain. NFTs contain anything like art, collectibles, paintings, songs or videos.
“As the demand for NFT continues to increase, the demand for solutions to today’s decentralized viewing and buying landscape has never been stronger. In 2022, Samsung will launch the world’s first TV screen-based NFT browser and market aggregator, this is a ground-breaking platform that allows you to browse, buy and display your favorite artworks in one place,” Samsung said.
