The Peoples Bus Service (PBS) will soon begin operating in Hyderabad, the second-largest city in the province, according to the Sindh government.
Sharjeel Inam Memon, Sindh’s Minister for Mass Transit and Transportation, said on Twitter that the bus service’s test run in the city has started, and that it would be introduced there by the end of this month.

He continued by saying that the provincial department of transportation is totally devoted to giving the general public the finest services possible.
The Minister previously declared that a PBS smartphone app will debut on November 30 and that the buses would also have an Intelligent Transport System (ITS).
In this respect, the Minister presided over a meeting that included Sohaib Shafiq, the Project Director for the National Radio and Telecommunication Corporation (NRTC), and Captain (r) Altaf Hussain Sario, the Managing Director (MD) of the Sindh Mass Transit Authority (SMTA).
Operations of the bus service, new routes, ITS, and the creation of a command and control room (CCR) were all covered during the conference.
The Minister explained in his remarks that the action will assist residents in tracking the real-time positions of the buses and provide them with a method for making online fare payments. He stated that the ITS plan will also include the installation of CCTV cameras, live tracking, and monitoring services.
