Punjab Police has presented a cell phone based application, named Pehchaan, for residents to examine criminal records before recruiting household laborers.
Propelled in a joint effort with Punjab Safe Cities Authorities (PSCA), the application will permit residents to check whether somebody has a criminal history or not.

Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Lahore, Zulfiqar Hameed, officially propelled the Pehchaan application at a function held at the CCPO office on Thursday. Burrow Investigation, Dr. Inam Waheed, and SSP Investigation, Zeeshan Asghar, likewise went to the dispatch function.
