When it comes to laptops, Nokia isn’t typically a brand that comes to mind, but that appears to be changing. Nokia PureBook Pro branded laptops will be available in 22 countries around the world as a result of a recently signed exclusive licensing agreement between Nokia and the French company, OFF Global.
The first of these will be the Nokia PureBook Pro, which will be unveiled at the MWC (Mobile World Congress) in Barcelona before going on sale later this year.
The Nokia-branded laptop was previously only available in India; however, the new arrangement will allow customers in several other countries to obtain this new device.
The agreement also allows the French startup to participate in the laptop’s conceptualization, design, manufacture, advertising, and sale.
As a result of the new licensing agreement, OFF Global also announced that the Nokia PureBook Pro laptop, which is available in two display sizes, will be available in multiple jurisdictions.
Nokia PureBook Pro laptops will be available in 15.6′′ and 17.3′′ sizes. Both laptops will have an IPS Full HD resolution screen with a maximum brightness of 250 nits as a display. Aside from that, it will have a backlit keyboard, which will be useful for working at night.
It will have an Intel Core i3-1220P processor, 8GB of RAM, and 512GB of SSD storage. It will run the Windows 11 operating system and will have two USB-C 3.2 ports, one USB-A 3.2 port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
Finally, the Nokia PureBook Pro 15.6′′ will have a 57Wh battery, while the 17.3′′ PureBook will have a slightly larger 63Wh unit.
The laptops are available in a variety of colors, including blue, dark grey, and red. However, the company has not revealed any details about the official launch date of these laptops as of yet, but it is expected to start at €699 ($791).
