For years, Apple has been working on a wireless future. Apple’s Macs and iPhones have already lost multiple ports, and it’s just a matter of time before we see gadgets with no connectors at all. Craob, on the other hand, has beaten Apple to the punch.
Craob is a complete unknown who has emerged out of nowhere with a one-of-a-kind ultrabook. The Craob X is an ultrabook that is exceedingly thin, possibly the thinnest yet.
Because the Craob X has no ports and no bezels surrounding the display, this is the case. It’s barely 7mm thick and 0.8kg in weight. If a MacBook Air feels light in your hands, this laptop should feel the same.
The display is a 13.3-inch IPS LCD with 4K resolution, with nearly no bezels around it. A little punch-hole cutout in the top center houses the front-facing camera for video calls.
The keyboard is somewhat recessed into the frame, and the huge touchpad, which lacks discrete click buttons, appears to be inspired by Apple.
The ultrabook isn’t just about looks; it’s also loaded with the most cutting-edge hardware. It has an Intel Core i7 12th Generation processor, Intel Irix Xe graphics, up to 32GB LPDDR5 RAM, and 2TB PCIe 4.0 SSDs. Wi-Fi 6E is also supported for speedy wireless connectivity.
In terms of hardware, the laptop includes a wireless charger that can be magnetically attached to the lid. This wireless charger also serves as a hub for several ports. A USB A port, a USB C port, a thunderbolt port, an audio jack, and an SD card reader are all included in one hub. The charger can simultaneously charge the laptop and transfer files.
Craob has not stated a release date or price, only that it will be available “soon.”
