In the midst of the ongoing economic downturn, automakers are attempting to make the best of the situation by launching a variety of special services.
MG launch a special “Mobile Aftersales Service”
MG JW SEZ has decided to launch a special “Mobile Aftersales Service” for its customers as one such tactic. This means that HS owners can now choose to have their vehicles serviced at a location of their choosing. The service is especially useful in the event of a breakdown in the middle of the journey.
MG raised the price of HS Essence by Rs. 600,000 in May 2023, the company’s second price increase this year. Following the reported price increase, the HS Essence now costs Rs. 8.8 million.
Despite the price increase, the HS remains one of Pakistan’s most affordable compact crossover SUVs. Other SUVs in the C-Segment category, such as the Proton X70, Haval H6, Kia Sportage, Hyundai Tucson, and others, either cost significantly more or have fewer features than the HS Essence, giving it an advantage in the local auto market.
