She complimented the newcomers on their diligent training. She added:
“This uniform symbolizes beyond mere clothing. It shows the duty to our country. Wearing it is a privilege granted upon a chosen few who understandably represent the national duty.”
She was accompanied in Lahore by PML-N leaders and Punjab IGP Usman Anwar. Maryam Nawaz was the main visitor. She presented trophies after evaluating the police forces.
Ms. Nawaz attended a ceremony for female constables in April. Her uniform was Punjab police. People started talking that she wore the uniform. She was criticized by rival politicians.
She stated on April 25.
“I’ve realized how much responsibility comes with wearing a police uniform. We make the decisions as CM, and you carry them out.”
