Both the Bing Chat website and app save a record of your conversations, allowing you to refer back to a previous or recent conversation.

However, you may want to save a copy of a specific chatbot response to use elsewhere. That is possible with both the website and the app.
You can copy and paste the contents of a response as well as export it as a PDF, text file, or Word document from the site.
The app allows you to copy and paste the response text. In addition to saving the text, certain formats will copy hyperlinks.
- How to Save and Copy Bing Chat Transcripts
1. Paste a Bing AI response into the website:
Launch Microsoft’s Edge browser and navigate to the Bing search page. To open a chat screen, click the Chat tab at the top. Choose a conversation style that is more creative, balanced, or precise.
At the prompt, type and submit your request, then wait for the response. Hover your mouse over the text after the full response has been generated to reveal a small toolbar in the upper right. Click the Copy icon (the third icon on the toolbar). You can then paste the text into another window or app.
2. Create a Word document from a Bing AI response:
A response can also be exported as a Word document. This is useful if you want to keep any hyperlinks in the response while editing and revising it.
To do this, type your prompt and then hover over the response text. On the toolbar, click the Export button and then Word. A popup window appears, allowing you to open or save a Word document containing the full text.
3. Examine the Word document:
To save the document directly to your Downloads or Documents folder, click Save or Save as. To view the document, click Open.
4. Download a PDF of a Bing AI response:
Another option is to save the response as a PDF. This could be useful if you want to create a static document that lends itself to this format, such as one to print.
Type and submit your prompt once more. Hover your mouse over the text after the response appears, then click the Export icon, then PDF.
5. Download the PDF:
In a separate window, a PDF version of the text appears.
6. Save a Bing AI response in plain text:
A third option on the website allows you to save the response as plain text, which is suitable for content that does not require any special formatting.
Submit your prompt, then hover over the response, click the Export icon, and then choose Text. Choose whether to save or open the resulting text document in the popup window.
7. Read the text:
When you choose to open the file, it appears in Notepad or another text editor.
8. Copy or export an earlier response:
You can copy or export any of your recent chats because Bing keeps a history of them. Select a recent chat from the list in the upper right corner. To export it, click the ellipsis icon next to it, then select Export and then the format.
