Honda has added a new Sport-L trim to the CR-V lineup for 2024, which features hybrid-electric power for a thrilling driving experience. This move has cemented the CR-V’s position as Honda’s best-selling SUV.

The 2024 CR-V now has three turbocharged trims (LX, EX, and EX-L) and three hybrid-powered trims (Sport, Sport-L, and Sport Touring) with the addition of the Sport-L. The hybrid-electric models have grown in popularity, accounting for more than half of all CR-V sales.

The LX 2WD model of the 2024 Honda CR-V starts at $29,500 MSRP. The 2024 CR-V Sport 2WD with hybrid-electric power starts at $33,350 MSRP.
The new hybrid-electric Sport-L 2WD is priced at $36,350 MSRP and sits between the turbocharged EX-L and the top-tier Sport Touring hybrid model.
- Powertrain:
Notably, Honda’s electrification strategy includes the CR-V hybrid models. These models are equipped with Honda’s advanced 4th-generation two-motor hybrid system, which produces 204 horsepower and 247 pound-feet of torque. This powerful engine translates into a fun and efficient driving experience.
Furthermore, the hybrid powertrain offers significantly better fuel economy than the 1.5L Turbo powertrain. The EPA city rating for the Sport and Sport-L hybrid trims is 43 mpg, while the EX/EX-L turbocharged trims get 28 mpg.
