The Pakistan Meteorological Department (Met Office) say heavy monsoon rain is coming to Sindh, Balochistan, and other parts of Pakistan from July 8 to July 15. Starting on July 10, lots of rain will come from the Arabian Sea to the northern areas.
Sindh and Balochistan Monsoon Forecast (July 8-9):
In Sindh, it will be very hot and sticky, and there might be rain, wind, and big storms in places like Jacobabad, Sukkur, and Karachi.
In eastern Balochistan, there could be rain and big storms in places like Khuzdar and Zhob.
Upper and Central Pakistan Monsoon Forecast (July 10-15):
Starting on July 10, rainy weather will affect Kashmir, Punjab, Islamabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Gilgit-Baltistan.
In Kashmir, there will be rain and heavy rain in places like Muzaffarabad and Mirpur.
From July 10 to 15, Punjab and Islamabad will have rain, affecting cities like Lahore and Rawalpindi.
Starting July 11, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will have rain, affecting areas like Swat and Peshawar.
From July 12, Balochistan expects rain in places like Zhob and Kalat.
In Gilgit-Baltistan, there will be some clouds and rain sometimes starting from July 11.
The weather office informs people in these areas to watch out for floods and problems from heavy rain. Leaders should do things to make sure the rain doesn’t cause big problems this monsoon season.
