The players’ draft completed on Wednesday, and as cricket fans get ready for the highly anticipated Pakistan Super League (PSL) 9th edition, the franchises have finalized their squads.
Team owners, coaches, and senior Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) officials, including Zaka Ashraf, the chairman of the board’s Management Committee, attended the event, which took place at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Lahore.
Here is a peek at the teams’ tournament lineup.

Tournament Starting Date
The local news outlet announced last week that PSL 9 will happen in February or March of the next year.
However, 4 major cities, including Karachi, Lahore, Multan, and Rawalpindi, will host the matches.
Meanwhile, starting on February 12, the teams will assemble to participate in four days of practice and competition.
The inaugural match of the event, which takes place in Lahore on February 17, pits Islamabad United against the reigning champions, Lahore Qalandars.
Furthermore, on February 18, the Multan Sultans and the Karachi Kings will play in Multan.
Meanwhile, it is suggested that Islamabad United and Karachi Kings play their first match in Karachi on February 28.
However, on March 1st, United will take on Quetta Gladiators in the first match held in Rawalpindi.
Additionally, there will be six doubleheaders held during the tournament.
Moreover, nine matches in each of Lahore and Rawalpindi, five in Multan, and eleven matches in Karachi.
However, the final set for March 17, will take place in Karachi along with three playoff games.
