The management of Multan Sultan traded Shan for Multan-born left-arm wrist spinner Faisal Akram, the second pick in the Silver category, and the first pick in the Diamond category.
Furthermore, the fourth choice of the Multan Sultans in the first Diamond round gone to the Karachi Kings.
Shan will now take the team’s leadership as Karachi Kings attempts to win a second PSL championship.

Players Trade
Players like Imad Wasim, Hasan Ali, Iftikhar Ahmed, and Naseem Shah have changed their teams in the most surprising ways in some of the largest trades we have witnessed in recent days.
Additionally, Karachi Kings swapped Hasan Ali of Islamabad United for their captain Imad Wasim.
It should be recalled that the PCB previously made public the list of every player that each of the six teams had retained, which included several well-known and significant players who the teams had decided not to keep.
Moreover, star pacer Muhammad Amir not held by the Karachi Kings.
Furthermore, Asif Ali, a powerful hitter, released by Islamabad United.
Quetta Gladiators elected not to keep off-spinner Muhammad Nawaz, and Peshawar Zalmi sent pacer Arshad Iqbal to the draft.
Naseem Shah Joins Islamabad United
Recall that Quetta acquired the first pick in the Platinum category from Islamabad in return for Naseem in exchange of two players, Abrar Ahmed and Mohammad Wasim Junior.
Then, as part of a trade with the Sultans, Quetta proceeded with the process and acquired Rilee Russouw.
However, Iftikhar and the first pick in the Platinum draft were given to the 2021 PSL winners.
In addition to Silver, Multan now holds the first choice in the Platinum round.
