The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology of Saudi Arabia sent a delegation to the conference, whose topic was “Shaping our future at the tech frontier.” According to the Saudi Press Agency, its primary objective was to facilitate the sharing of knowledge and discussion of issues related to the growth of the digital economy, technological innovation, and the formulation of related policies.

The Arabian government is making great strides towards its Vision 2030 development and diversification goals, as articulated by Deputy Minister for Technology Foresight and Digital Economy Daniah Orkoubi.
She went on to talk about how women’s empowerment initiatives in the Kingdom have contributed to a 33.6% female workforce participation rate.
Orkoubi also discussed the ongoing initiatives of the Kingdom to help close the digital divide around the world by providing satellite and non-terrestrial networks.
