After only a few weeks on the App Store, OpenAI’s ChatGPT app for iOS gains a couple of cool new features, including deeper integration with Siri and Shortcuts. Furthermore, the app is now optimized for iPads and runs in full-screen mode.

Shortcuts allows you to create and save a custom ChatGPT prompt. It can then be linked to other apps to perform an action.
For example, you can automatically save the response to the prompt in Notes or send it via a messaging app. You can also ask Siri to do it for you.
The drag-and-drop feature available on Apple devices can now be used with app. Simply drag and drop the response to other apps.
Today, OpenAI is improving ChatGPT on iPad with a new update that takes advantage of the entire iPad screen. Drag and drop, Siri support, and Shortcuts integration are also included in the updated ChatGPT app for iOS and iPadOS.
GPT will now run full-screen on Apple’s tablets, rather than as an iPhone-sized app on a larger display. Little else has changed for the iPad version, which still includes a chat interface and the option to switch between GPT-3.5 and GPT-4.
Drag and drop support has also been added by OpenAI, so messages can now be dragged out of the chat interface and into other apps.
