According to a source, the federal government has determined the schedule for submitting fees following the approval of the issuance of Machine Readable Passports (MRPs) in Pakistan.
The price list for diplomatic, official, and ordinary groups has been made public. Ordinary citizens will be granted MRPs when their current passports expire.
In the beginning, MRPs are only issued from Islamabad. The timing of the service’s expansion to other cities across the country will be announced later.
Fees can be paid using the National Bank of Pakistan’s (NBP) mobile app, MobiCash, or Easypaisa, or through the Pakistan Passport e-Payment Service portal.
The registration fees for various categories are as follows:
- Normal Registration:
