After visiting 104 nations, a Japanese tourist named Tamazaki Takuya arrived in Pakistan and got lost in Sindh while exploring various regions of the country. He mistook Karachi’s Orangi Town for a tourist attraction. He was apprehended by authorities and turned over to the Foreigner Security Cell.
Tamazaki, according to reports, visited portions of Sindh during the last two days, but when he arrived in Karachi, he had no idea where he was. He was apprehended by Karachi Police after they discovered him urgently trying to find his way.
The Japanese national was apprehended by a police team who suspected him of being a Bengali national, according to the authorities. Takuya told the police of his credentials after an initial round of interrogation, and he was taken into protective custody and escorted to the office of the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Suhai Aziz.
After that, the tourist was sent to the Foreign Security Cell for further proceedings. When notified, the Japanese Consulate praised the Karachi Police for their assistance and concern.
A Chinese individual had previously mistook Kati Pahari, a cliff well-known among locals as a hotspot for ethnopolitical violence and drug trafficking, for a vacation destination, according to local officials.
It’s unknown how the Chinese national came to be on the edge so soon after arriving in the United States. According to the officials, the tourist was in Karachi on a work visa and may have gone over the edge due to a misunderstanding.
