After presenting its brand-new EVO-X, Team Envision from NUST-PNEC hopes to win another prize in a forthcoming international competition.
In the next Shell Eco-Marathon Asia 2023, they will compete with their most recent high-efficiency electric vehicle (EV).
From November 15 through November 18 at the EXPO Centre Karachi, the team showed the prototype at IDEAS 2022.
They briefed a number of notable individuals on their most recent device, including the Chief of Naval Staff, Admiral M. Amjad Khan Niazi, and the Emir of Jamaat-e-Islami, Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman.
To cap off a fruitful day, Team Envision also won “The Most Decorated Stall” title.
A 500-watt BLDC electric motor powers the new electric vehicle. It has body-on-frame construction, where the mild steel chassis supports a carbon fiber and fiberglass body. Only 0.21 is the drag coefficient for the EV.
The squad has taken part in practically every Shell Eco-Marathon since it began. This competition has hundreds of teams from over 60 nations and is a premier worldwide venue for universities and educational institutions to display and compete with fuel-efficient vehicles.
In 2023, EVO-X will take part in the Shell Eco-Marathon Asia. This car will compete in the category of battery-powered prototypes.
The team is really motivated and devoted to winning the upcoming competition and once more representing the nation with pride on the world stage.
