The administration of Dubai has established a “rapid car testing and registration centre” on Seih Shuaib street.
According to the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), the facility can accommodate 500 vehicles and has eight testing lanes:
- Five stars for heavy vehicles.
- Three for small vehicles.
- One for a thorough examination.
Furthermore, the centre offers mobile testing for conventional fuel-powered light and heavy vehicles. One of the services is that VIPs can have customer transactions expedited.
The centre also has a plate factory and a light and heavy vehicle repair facility.
The centre is open from 7:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. The Dubai administration hopes to encourage motorists to drive properly functioning vehicles by providing this facility.
There are numerous high-speed roads in Dubai where a catastrophic mechanical failure in a vehicle can result in a massive accident. This facility was established as a preventative measure for potential loss of life and property.
