Syeda Sania Zehra was 20 years old. She was pregnant. She had two children. Her body was found hanged in her home. This happened in Multan two days ago.
Her father went to the police. He made a report. The report was made at the New Multan police station. They registered it under sections 302, 148, and 149 of the Pakistan Penal Code.
The report says she was five to six months pregnant. It says her husband is the main suspect. He ran away. He did not tell her family.
The husband lied about his first marriage. He was already married. The pregnantvictim’s family knew this later. They took the matter to court. They withdrew the case later.
The husband threatened her often. He wanted her to sell her house. This is in the report too.
