Additionally, YT Music, a new music streaming app that provides users with an immersive music experience, is now available.
YT Premium eliminates ads for an uninterrupted viewing experience and allows for background play for multitasking or listening to educational content.
Users can also download videos from their favorite shows and content creators for offline viewing on long flights or commutes with limited internet access.
Y.T Music Premium, which provides ad-free music streaming, background play, and downloads on Y.T Music, is also included in the package.
YT Music is a music-focused app and web player that provides official songs, albums, playlists, artist radio, and a large collection of remixes, live performances, covers, and music videos from Tube.
On their devices, users can listen to the latest hits, discover new music, and stay connected to the music world. While there is a free ad-supported version of YT Music, users can upgrade to YT Music Premium for an ad-free music experience.
Farhan S. Qureshi, Google’s Director for Pakistan, expressed his excitement about the launch of YouTube Premium and YouTube Music in Pakistan. He emphasized the country’s YouTube community’s significant growth, with over 400 channels having more than one million subscribers and over 6,000 channels having more than 100,000 subscribers. This demonstrates the platform’s popularity and the platform’s ability to support Pakistani creators and artists.
YouTube aims to provide Pakistani viewers with the best entertainment experience possible, particularly those interested in music video content.
Local artists are increasingly sharing their works, premiering music videos, and featuring exclusive content on YouTube, which helps them grow their fanbase globally.

YT Premium and Music have a variety of subscription plans available.
- YT Premium costs 479.00 PKR and includes access to YT Music Premium, which allows for ad-free viewing and offline downloads of millions of YouTube videos.
- For 899.00 PKR, a Premium Family Plan is also available, allowing up to five household members to share the Premium membership.
- YouTube Music Premium costs 299.00 PKR and includes ad-free music, background play, and downloads.
- A Music Premium Family Plan costs 479.00 PKR.
- In addition, eligible students can choose between the Premium Student Plan, which starts at 329.00 PKR and the Music Premium Student Plan, which costs 149.00 PKR on the web and on Android.
