The Youth International Conclave – YIC hosted an event to commemorate International Women’s Day. It was a virtual event. The event’s theme was “Gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow,” with a call for women-led climate action.
Engr. Umar Farooq Gul was the event’s Lead Organizer. He is the President of the “Youth International Conclave,” and one of Pakistan’s active community builders. Engr. Umar Farooq Gul is giving young people the chance to learn a variety of skills, including leadership and business. Engr. Umar Farooq is a professional engineer with a passion for entrepreneurship.
He is bringing together prospective youngsters from all around the world in a variety of disciplines, including cultural, technological, educational, learning platforms, and business. He is teaching youths how to become entrepreneurs so that they may start their businesses or improve their futures. He is organizing several activities for the youngsters to attend to acquire new talents or to demonstrate their abilities.
Engineer Umar Farooq’s goal is to develop the capabilities of young entrepreneurs, who play a critical role in any economy by anticipating demands and bringing brilliant innovations to life.
The Youth International Conclave – YIC contributes to the festivities of International Women’s Day by emphasizing how women entrepreneurs from throughout the world resolve issues and effectively participate in global business. One of the Youth International Conclave – YIC key goals is to empower women in commerce and business in developing and least developed nations.
Many nations throughout the world observe International Women’s Day. It is a day on which women are honored for their accomplishments regardless of national, ethnic, linguistic, cultural, economic, or political differences. For women in both industrialized and emerging countries, International Women’s Day has taken on a new global significance since those early years.
The celebration has served as a gathering place to promote support for women’s rights and involvement in political and economic arenas, attributed to the growing worldwide women’s movement, which has been bolstered by four global United Nations women’s conferences.
The climate catastrophe has the greatest impact on women and girls because it exacerbates existing gender inequities and puts women’s lives and livelihoods in jeopardy. Women throughout the world rely on natural resources more than males, yet have less access to them, and frequently face disproportionate responsibility for providing food, water, and fuel.
Supporting women in sustainable commerce helps to prevent climate change by increasing their regional and international cooperation chains as minority populations. Women entrepreneurs are at the forefront of bringing sustainable solutions to commerce and our everyday routines, and we honor them.
Many different accomplished women attended the event and spoke about various challenges concerning women and their solutions. They also stated that we will support women who are attempting to make a difference. Many participants have participated in events around the globe which shows that we are supporting women in this digital world. A question-and-answer session between the speakers and the audience was also held.
Bias, whether conscious or unconscious, has a tremendous influence on women’s equality, and we must take action to address it. We must acknowledge it and speak up about it. It’s time to #BreakTheBias.
