Last month, the Xiaomi 13 was made official in China. For the time being, the series only includes the Xioami 13 and 13 Pro, but company CEO Lei Jun has confirmed that an Ultra model will be released later for the first time in China as well as the global market.
This fueled speculation that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra would make its debut at the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC), which is known for global product launches. Digital Chat Station (DCS), a well-known industry source, believes otherwise.

According to the Chinese source, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will be released later this year rather than at the MWC, which takes place at the end of February.
The claim appears plausible given that Xiaomi does not release its flagship phones at the MWC. These phones are frequently shown during the company’s own keynotes around the world.
However, some older rumours claimed that the Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro would be released at the MWC, so it is possible that the Chinese brand will change things up this year.
Lei Jun, the company’s CEO, has also confirmed that these phones will be available in the global market soon.
The Xiaomi 13 Ultra, like its non-Ultra siblings, will most likely debut in China before making its way around the world.
DCS also mentions that we will see other flagships soon. He claims that Oppo’s top-tier Find X6 series and Honor’s Magic 5 phones will be available soon after the upcoming Chinese New Year, which begins on January 22. Given how long the holidays usually last, both Chinese phones could be released in mid-February.
