Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S24 models were unveiled last month, and the company is now concentrating on creating its next foldable devices, which are usually released in the summer.
The first renders of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 have surfaced, despite the phone’s launch being six months away.
These were obtained by OnLeaks, and the phone looks to have a boxy design akin to the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
The phone retains the same design as the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and 5, but it now resembles the Galaxy S24 Ultra thanks to its completely flat sides and slightly angular frame.
With the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and Galaxy AI, this upcoming foldable model will showcase Samsung’s creative approach to incorporating generative AI features.
The source claims that the Fold 6 will have a 7.6-inch foldable display and measure 153.5 x 132.5 x 6.1 mm when it is unfolded.
As a result, it is 2.6 mm wider and 1.4 mm shorter than its predecessor.
There won’t be a special slot for a S Pen, despite rumours to the contrary, and the constant thickness indicates that the hinge mechanism and other internal components are mostly unaltered.
According to reports, the device’s external display will have a 6.2-inch screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a brightness capacity of up to 2,600 nits.
In addition, seven years’ worth of security patches and seven significant operating system updates are anticipated for the phone.
