Gavin Sheets hit the ball four times. He drove in four runs. Korey Lee and Brooks Baldwin hit home runs. The Chicago White Sox won. They beat the New York Yankees 12-2. This gave Grady Sizemore, the interim manager, his first win. The team lost 24 out of 25 games before this.

“It was amazing,” he said. “The guys played well. I am proud of them.”
Lee hit a home run in the fourth inning. Baldwin hit a three-run home run in the seventh. Sheets hit doubles in the first, fifth, and seventh innings. He scored a run in the seventh inning. Andrew Vaughn also hit the ball four times. He scored twice. This helped the White Sox win. Sizemore praised the team.
“They are playing hard and battling,” he said.
Aaron Judge hit a double in the first inning. He almost hit his 300th home run in the second inning. It fell short.

The White Sox won big. They played with energy and skill. The Yankees lost. They missed a chance to keep their good record. The White Sox showed they could still win.
