Day scholars at the Islamic International University Islamabad (IIUI) have been protesting the university’s management about the shortage of water in the dorms for the last two days so far.
Students complained that the management had failed to supply water while charging them hefty dorm fees. The students are facing so many problems since water is the essential part of our lives.
How hostilities manage their regular lives normally with water is actually is a big task away from home striving for their dream degree and career then how come they manage their chores and lives without water in their daily lives. The water shortage has been a real problem for the students of IIUI.
According to one of the students, the hostilities have been warning the administration about the impending water shortage since the start of the summer season in Islamabad.
The administration, however, disregarded their warnings, and children are now bearing the brunt of the state’s ineptness in the sweltering heat of Islamabad.
Another student added that hostilities have been forced to raise funds and organize their own water trucks, and that they will not be able to sustain this additional financial burden for long.
The students have promised to continue demonstrating until the university administration addresses the issue and guarantees a steady supply of water.
