The Vivo Y500 Pakistan launch is now official, and it brings something Pakistani users have wanted for years: a truly massive battery on a phone that does not cost a fortune. Vivo has officially confirmed the device is available nationwide from June 27, 2026, with two storage variants to choose from. At its heart is an 8,100mAh BlueVolt battery, the biggest Vivo has ever put inside a Y Series phone, and a sharp 1.5K Infinity AMOLED screen. Here is everything you need to know.

Vivo Y500 Pakistan Price and Availability

Vivo Pakistan has set the price at two points. The base model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage costs Rs. 99,999. If you want more storage, the 8GB+256GB version is priced at Rs. 109,999. Pre-orders ran from June 20 to June 26, and the phone became available in shops across the country on June 27, 2026.

The phone comes in three colours: Glacier Blue, Dragon Crystal Purple, and Basalt Black. Vivo is backing the Y500 with a 1+1 year warranty, a 15-day free replacement policy, and a 6-month warranty on accessories. That is a fairly generous after-sales package for this price range.

The 8,100mAh BlueVolt Battery Is the Real Story

For Pakistani buyers dealing with daily load-shedding, the battery is the single biggest reason to pay attention to this phone. The 8,100mAh BlueVolt battery is the largest capacity Vivo has ever put in its Y Series. Vivo says it can handle up to 10 hours of continuous gaming on a single charge. For regular everyday use, multi-day battery life is very realistic.

What makes this battery interesting is the technology behind it. Vivo uses its own Space Stacking Technology and Magic Cube Expansion Packaging to fit the large cell inside a slim body without making the phone feel like a brick. The company also promises a 6-year battery health guarantee, meaning the battery should hold its capacity well over many years of use. That is a rare promise at this price.

There is also a 50-Month Smooth Experience certificate, which covers overall device performance, not just the battery. For buyers who keep phones for three to four years, this matters a lot.

1.5K Infinity AMOLED Display at a Mid-Range Price

Most phones under Rs. 100,000 in Pakistan top out at a Full HD+ (1080p) screen. The Vivo Y500 Pakistan steps up with a 1.5K Infinity AMOLED display, a resolution that sits between Full HD and Quad HD. That alone makes it stand out in this segment.

The screen is 6.77 inches with a 120Hz refresh rate, which makes scrolling and gaming feel smooth. Peak brightness hits an impressive 5,000 nits, so the screen stays readable even in direct sunlight, something that matters in Pakistani summers. The display also supports HDR10+, which improves contrast and colour when watching supported content on Netflix or YouTube. 3,840Hz PWM dimming helps reduce eye strain during long sessions.

Dual stereo speakers come built in, adding to the entertainment experience.

Camera, Processor, and Build

The Y500 uses a 50MP Sony main camera on the back with a depth sensor, plus a 32MP front camera for selfies. Rear video recording goes up to 4K at 30fps with gyro-EIS stabilisation to keep footage steady.

Under the hood, the phone runs a 6nm processor designed for smooth daily use, multitasking, and casual gaming. Vivo has not named the chip in its Pakistan launch materials, but it handles the daily tasks the Y Series audience needs without issues.

One of the more surprising specs at this price is the IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance. IP68 means the phone can survive being submerged in water. IP69 is even tougher, it can handle high-pressure water jets. Vivo even highlights IP69 Underwater Photography as a feature, letting users take photos beneath the surface. That kind of protection is rare at under Rs. 110,000.

The phone runs Android 15 with Vivo’s OriginOS interface on top. Storage uses the fast UFS 3.1 standard, and RAM uses LPDDR4x technology.

Why This Phone Targets Pakistani Users Directly

Pakistan faces one of the most difficult power situations in the region. Load-shedding can cut electricity for hours each day in many cities and towns. For millions of people, keeping a phone charged is a real daily challenge. A phone with an 8,100mAh battery means fewer charges needed per day, and a much better chance of staying connected during long outages.

The promise of multi-day battery life is not just a marketing line here. With typical use, a phone of this capacity can genuinely last two full days before needing a charge. That is a practical answer to a practical problem that affects everyday Pakistani life.

At the same time, the 1.5K AMOLED screen and IP68 protection give buyers features they would normally have to spend more to get. For students, young professionals, and families on a mid-range budget, the Y500 is designed to feel like a bigger phone than its price suggests.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the price of Vivo Y500 in Pakistan?

The Vivo Y500 Pakistan price is Rs. 99,999 for the 8GB+128GB version and Rs. 109,999 for the 8GB+256GB version. Both are available at authorised Vivo dealers across the country.

What makes the Vivo Y500 battery special?

The Vivo Y500 carries an 8,100mAh BlueVolt battery, the largest Vivo has ever put in the Y Series. It supports up to 10 hours of gaming and comes with a 6-year battery health guarantee. Vivo uses Space Stacking Technology to keep the phone slim despite the huge battery.

Does the Vivo Y500 have a good display?

Yes. It has a 6.77-inch 1.5K Infinity AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, and 5,000 nits of peak brightness. A 1.5K resolution at this price point is uncommon and is a clear upgrade over most mid-range phones.

Is the Vivo Y500 waterproof?

The Vivo Y500 carries both IP68 and IP69 ratings. IP68 covers deep water submersion, and IP69 adds protection against high-pressure water jets. Vivo even supports underwater photography with this rating. This level of protection is rare in phones under Rs. 110,000.
