Vivo’s latest V series phone is the V30 Pro, which has four 50MP cameras and is one of the year’s thinnest phones. Pricing and availability information, however, have yet to be announced.
Design and Display
The display is a large 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with 1260p resolution, a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, and a remarkable peak brightness of 2,800 nits. It also has excellent colour accuracy because to its 10-bit panel.
The phone’s back features the trademark rectangular Aura Light, which is designed to give gentle and uniform lighting for low-light portrait shots. Although Vivo does not provide exact dimensions, the V30 Pro has a surprisingly small profile.
Internals & Software
The V30 Pro, equipped with a Dimensity 8200 chipset and based on a 4nm architecture, stands out as a substantially more powerful platform than the standard V30, which has a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor.
Memory configurations are offered in two sizes: 8/256 GB and 12/512 GB. There are no memory card slots for storage expansion. For software, it includes the most recent Android 14 with Funtouch OS 14 on top.
Cameras
All three cameras on the back have 50MP lenses. The configuration features a Sony IMX920 sensor for the main camera, a Samsung JN1 sensor for the ultra-wide-angle shooter, and a Sony INX816 sensor for the portrait telephoto lens.
The main camera is capable of recording both 4K and 1080p films at 30 frames per second. Even the selfie camera uses a high-resolution 50MP sensor.
Battery and Pricing
Despite its tiny size, the phone houses a 5,000 mAh battery and supports ultra-fast 80W cable charging for speedy top-ups. As previously stated, there are no pricing or availability specifics as of yet.
