But something weird happened today when Snapchat users discovered the AI submitted its first story. It was impossible to tell whether the footage was of a wall or a ceiling.
Users naturally began to worry what the AI was doing because it had never done anything like this before, but it began to ignore them, which it had never done before.
Others began receiving boilerplate responses from the AI, such as “does not understand” or “experienced a technical issue.” After more than an hour of perplexity, the AI deleted the Snapchat Story.
Snapchat users resorted to other social media platforms to express their concern and even dread over this. According to certain views, AI has progressed and gained consciousness.
