On Wednesday, a remote-controlled drone crashed close to an Orange Line train station in the Thoker Niaz Baig suburb of Lahore, raising concerns among the authorities about the possibility that the device may have been carrying explosives.
The bomb disposal team was called in by the police, who cleared the object after a careful examination and noting that it was devoid of any explosives.
However, the unmanned aerial aircraft had a camera attached underneath, which the cops discovered.
The drone was taken by the police, who then initiated an inquiry to find out how and where it took off.
The superintendent of police (SP) for Saddar was instructed to look into the event and submit a report after the chief of the Lahore police took notice of it.
