Since taking office in April 2022, Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal has been vigorously pursuing these proposals.
Under the 2025 vision, the planning minister launched a number of projects between 2013 and 2017. Nonetheless, some of the initiatives that the previous administration had halted have now been resumed.
The planning minister reiterated the government’s commitment to providing such incentives to the youth, which has, regrettably, become increasingly divided in recent years: “The top priority of the government is to provide such facilities to the country’s youth so that they can excel in their respective fields.”
The largest internship program in Pakistan, Prime Minister’s Ba-Ikhtiyar Naujawan, aims to give young people economic independence.
By providing 60,000 paid internships to recent graduates across Pakistan, the initiative is working towards this goal.
