Students should apply online as soon as they obtain their Certificate of Acceptance for Study from their selected educational institution because of the anticipated rise in demand for UK student visas, especially in August. There will be plenty of time to make travel plans and deal with any unforeseen delays before classes start in September.

Students applying for visas should take care to give accurate and complete information and all required documentation. Application processing timeframes could be affected by errors or omissions in the submitted information.
Because of the high volume of applications expected throughout the summer from both visitors and students, the UKVI official at the British High Commission has emphasised the need of applying early and submitting all required papers. British High Commissioner in Pakistan Jane Marriott began her responsibilities on Thursday after presenting her credentials to President Arif Alvi. In the 75 years that the United Kingdom has maintained diplomatic relations with Pakistan, she is the first woman to hold that position.
