Indus Motor Company (IMC) has decreased in pricing after the Pakistani rupee’s spectacular comeback against the US dollar in less than two weeks after raising automobile costs by up to Rs. 3.16 million.
“As PKR has appreciated against the US dollar in the past few days, it has made it possible for IMC to pass on the favorable forex impact to its customers,” the company said in a notice dated August 15, 2022.
The updated automobile costs for Toyota’s CKD units are listed below.



The company cut the cost of Corolla models with sticker prices between Rs. 330,000 to Rs. 440,000.
The cost of the Corolla 1.6 MT was decreased by Rs. 330,000, from Rs. 4.899 million to Rs. 4.569 million.
The Corolla 1.6 AT variant’s pricing has been reduced by Rs. 350,000 to Rs. 4.789 million.
Similar reductions were made to the cost of Yaris models, which now range from 260,000 to 310,000 rupees.
The Yaris 1.5 CVT in the aforementioned category experienced the largest price reduction of Rs. 310,000, falling from Rs. 4.569 million to Rs. 4.259 million.
Revo is priced between Rs. 650,000 to Rs. 820,000. While the cost of Revo V AT Rocco dropped from Rs. 11.999 million to Rs. 11.179 million, the cost of Revo G MT increased from Rs. 9.819 million to Rs. 9.169 million.
IMC also reduced the prices for the Fortuner model by between Rs. 910,000 and Rs. 1.14 million.
After a drop of Rs. 910,000, the Fortuner Lo Petrol model is now offered at Rs. 11.579 million.
The Fortuner Diesel Legender model experienced the highest price drop, dropping from Rs. 15.839 million to Rs. 14.69 million.
