Samsung launched the One UI Watch 4.5 beta programmed for the Galaxy Watch4 series a few months ago.
And it appears that testing went well because the company announced the beta program’s closure on its community forums, implying that the Korean conglomerate will not release any new beta builds for the Watch4 lineup.
Samsung released the Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro with One UI Watch 4.5, which is based on Wear OS 3.5.
Shortly after its release, Samsung began testing an update for the Galaxy Watch 4 series, which added several new features to the older smartwatches.
Following the release of six One UI Watch 4.5 beta updates for the Galaxy Watch 4 lineup, Samsung is now releasing it on the stable channel.
Yesterday, Samsung officially announced the end of the One UI Watch Beta programme and confirmed that no further beta updates would be released.
While Samsung has not announced the release of the One UI Watch 4.5 stable update, some users have already begun receiving it on their Galaxy Watch4.
The firmware version R870XXU1GVH2/R870OXM1GVH2 is included in the update, which requires a 95MB download.
If your Galaxy Watch4 hasn’t yet received the update, you can manually check for it by going to its Galaxy Wearable > Galaxy Watch4 > Watch4 settings > Watch software update menu.
