With the debut of the ORA Grand Cat EV, which was recently showcased at GWM’s ‘Light Your Future’ event during this year’s Thailand International Motor Expo, held earlier this month, GWM is ready to extend its selection after seeing tremendous success with the ORA Good Cat EV in Thailand.
Grand Cat EV, often referred to as the Lightning Cat in its native market, was formally introduced in early November and can be purchased for between 189,800 and 269,800 yuan (PKR 61.64 lac and PKR 87.61 lac).
The Grand Cat EV has comparable design features with the Good Cat, such as its absence of a front grille and stretched-out, wider appearance. The Grand Cat, on the other hand, stands out even more because of its frameless doors and noticeable groove that extends from just in front of the front wheels to the end of the rear doors.
A curved, coupe-like roofline is shown in the side profile, reminding us of the first Porsche Panamera. As we move forward, we see a fastback-like rear end with taillights that are rectangular in shape surrounding the tailgate and an integrated active rear wing.
The Grand Cat EV has the following dimensions: 4,871 mm in length, 1,862 mm in width, and 1,500 mm in height. The Grand Cat is 96 mm shorter than the Good Cat, but is 636 mm longer and 37 mm broader. The Grand Cat’s wheelbase is 2,870 mm long, 220 mm longer than the Good Cat’s.
